Review of Economic Perspectives – Národohospodářský obzor (in Czech) is a peer-reviewed scientific journal dealing with issues in economics and economic policy. Besides the focus on general matters being relevant to contemporary economies and societies, the journal also welcomes manuscripts of practical relevance for Central and Eastern European countries. Review of Economic Perspectives has freely continued the tradition of Obzor národohospodářský, a Czech economic journal, first issue of which was published in 1896. Since 2025, the journal has been owned and operated by the Mendel University in Brno, Faculty of Business and Economics.
Review of Economic Perspectives (RoEP) is an English-language, open access, double-blind peer-reviewed journal. RoEP is indexed in both major world databases Web of Science / ESCI (Clarivate Analytics) and SCOPUS (Elsevier). The current impact factor is 0.8, which corresponds to Q3 in the area of Economics.
Since 2011, the papers and issues of RoEP have been available on the international platform of Paradigm (formerly Sciendo) provided by de Gruyter.
