Author Guidelines
Review of Economic Perspectives welcomes all manuscripts in economics and economic policy. Besides the topics of worldwide interest, the journal also invites manuscripts of practical relevance for Central and Eastern European countries.
Manuscripts submission
- Manuscripts in English should be submitted exclusively through the online submission system.
- The authors should submit their manuscripts either in MS Word or as PDF file.
- For new submissions, the authors should send two files: the anonymised Main file and separate Title page.
- Preferably, the anonymous Main file is submitted as a single document (containing the main text, tables, figures and appendices).
- The Title page should include full names of authors, their affiliations including addresses and email addresses, and acknowledgment.
- RoEP does not charge any submission fees.
Instructions for authors
- Length: preferably 10–20 pages (1½ line spacing, excluding references)
- Abstract: approximately 150 words (no more than 200 words)
- Keywords: 2-7 keywords
- JEL codes: up to 6 appropriate JEL codes
- References should be cited in the text by name and year in parentheses.
- List of references at the end with full details following a consistent recognised style (e.g. APA or Chicago).
- Figures should be of high quality and embedded in the text.
- Tables should be numbered using Arabic numerals and embedded in the text.
- Equations should be numbered (in parentheses) on the right-hand side, near the margin.
- Headings should be clearly numbered using the decimal system of headings with no more than three levels.
- Pages should be numbered (ideally, bottom of page, in the middle).
- Paragraphs should be justified.
- Please use as few abbreviations and footnotes as possible.
Originality and publication ethics
- Submitted manuscripts must be original work that has not been previously published and is not currently under review at any other journal.
- All authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest at the point of submission.
- RoEP adheres to standard publication ethic guidelines.
